Buying School Lunches
Lunches are available for the children every Wednesday and Friday. These can be ordered before 9 am and preferably money should be in a named envelope with the order written on the outside. This is a P.T.A. fundraiser. Most of our food has the ‘healthy heart tick’.

SCHOOL HOURS
The school is open from 8:30 am to 3:00pm. Supervision of children is provided within these hours.
School Begins 9.00 am.
Morning Interval 11am to 11:20 am
Lunch 12:30 pm to 1:15 pm
Dismissal 2:45 pm

The school dental therapist visit once a year. During this time the children are ‘screened’ in the mobile caravan. If the children require any treatment you will be contacted. All dental treatment is carried out at the Onekawa Dental Clinic. If you have any queries concerning your child’s dental health please ring Onekawa Dental Clinic on 843 6711

Sun Hats

Sun Hats
Sunhats must be worn during Terms One and Four. The school will issue your child with a school hat that is to stay at school. Children are welcome to bring their own sunhat to wear.

Other Information
School Pool: We have a covered, heated swimming pool for the children’s swimming programme. We usually swim for all of Term One and Term Four. Swimming is compulsory and children need to have a note from home if there is a reason they cannot take part in regular swimming lessons.
Technology (Year 7 & 8): Our technology provider is Taradale Intermediate. The children will attend all day Friday, for terms 1 and 2 only. The children are reminded that they need to wear appropriate footwear.
Bus: Please remember you are required to let your bus driver and the school know if there are any changes to your child’s normal travelling routine.

Enrolment information can be obtained from the school office.
The school will need to sight a current immunisation certificate and birth certificate or valid passport.
